Incredible food! The Chicken gyro was loaded with tender sliced chicken, fresh veggies, and homemade yogurt tzaziki sauce! We will definitely be returning. My 2 yr old crushed a chicken gyro as well. We also enjoyed the boardwalk fries and a few of the desserts. Yum!!

Wow!! I was 5 mins away and because my dogs are traveling with me and it's 85-90 degrees out... To save time, I called ahead. I stopped by Exxon and got some gas, and the food was ready seconds after I walked in! The young lady working there was very sweet and friendly, and the staff was great! This is my first time here, and didn't know what to expect. Because I am visiting in the area, I asked to stop by the restroom because picking up the food after I already paid, and the young lady took my food to the back counter and got it for me when I returned. I ate in my car and when I opened the container, I was Wowed! So much food. The I tasted the salad, gyro and then chicken. Yummm... The gyro is one of the best I had and didn't expect it from a gas station restaurant. The chicken has a nice herbal flavor, Italian like. I got the combination gyro platter "Gyro and Souvlaki meats tossed together, served on a bed of basmati rice with tomatoes, onions, feta and tzatziki sauce". I could use extra tzatziki sauce, but fortunately the gyro and Souvlaki meat have so much flavor that they are yummy alone. If I love n the area, I would come here at least once a week!! It's enough for 2 meals!!

This is the real deal. Who would have known this hidden gem with authentic Greek food was in the back of Shell Gas Station? And the fresh cut French fries were so good! Delicious food & the service is always friendly & efficient. Cute little area with tables & chairs to enjoy your food in the sunshine. Thank you; plan to be back many more times.

I was pleasantly surprised how good the food was. The vegetarian gyro was seasoned to perfection. I haven't had a real gyro in over a decade and this taste took me back. The trip is absolutely worth it.

One of the standout offerings is the Chicken Gyro. Katie Cisneros highlights this dish as “loaded with tender sliced chicken, fresh veggies, and homemade yogurt tzatziki sauce.” The balance of flavors paired with generous portions makes it a must-try. It's heartwarming to hear that even the little ones, as Katie's two-year-old, can’t resist the taste. Add in some crunchy boardwalk fries and a selection of delightful desserts, and you’ve got a winning meal that’s perfect for families.

What sets Aleko's Village Cafe apart is not just the food but also the exceptional service. Tilly Lo shares her experience of calling ahead to pick up her order and finding the staff incredibly accommodating and friendly. Receiving her meal seconds after arriving, she was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the sandwich, remarking, “The gyro is one of the best I had and didn't expect it from a gas station restaurant.” The flavorful herbal notes of the chicken made her wish to return for more.

Another fan, Ellen Patton, points out the convenient location—a hidden treasure within the confines of a Shell Gas Station. Visitors may be surprised by this unconventional setting, but they leave with full bellies and smiles, often relaxing at the outdoor seating area basking in the sunshine. With each bite of the expertly prepared dishes, it becomes evident that Aleko's prides itself on quality.

Overall, Aleko's Village Cafe combines friendly service, authentic Greek flavors, and a laid-back atmosphere, making it a favorite among those who stumble upon it.
